MobileIron’s PIV-D Entrust application for iPhones and iPads is an innovative mobile application that transforms your mobile device into a virtual smart card / digital identity. It is compliant with Government standards and best practices for generating, provisioning and storing a Derived Credential on your mobile device. Upon successful credential activation in conjunction with Entrust IdentityGuard Self-Service Module, the mobile device is provisioned with the digital identity derived from the users physical smart card.
With the MobileIron PIV-D Entrust application, users can leverage their identity certificates contained in the Derived Credential for authenticating, encrypting and signing with other mobile apps.
